About Adam

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my website. I am assuming that you would like to know a little more about me. I really hate writing about myself but, in the spirit of providing too much information, I will try my best to give you the who, what, where and why of your’s truly.

Who?

ak About Adam

My name is Adam Weitz. I am an entrepreneur, graphic/web designer, marketing/branding consultant, tech geek, pop culture nerd and an Apple addict. But do we really have to put a label on me? Most notably, I am the founder and CEO of New Harbor Design and a co-owner of its parent company New Harbor Enterprises. New Harbor Enterprises, or NHE as the cool kids like to call it (full disclosure: no cool kids I know call it “NHE”), also controls our real estate firm, New Harbor Investments. We also plan to launch a couple charities as well as a new, for-profit, venture in the next few months.

I was born just outside of Chicago and, though I moved all over as a kid, Chicago is still where most of my heart is. I am a huge fan of all Chicago sports so, needless to say, I am used to losing and cheering on other teams in the playoffs. I currently live in Yorba Linda, California (in Orange County…the OC…okay, fine, next to Disney Land) with my amazingly gorgeous, out of my league, super awesome wife Kristen. In 2009, we got married on our seven year anniversary and every day has been a blessing. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, surfing and brewing beer. Though let’s face it, Kristen and I spent two years on opposite sides of the country from each other so most days I’m just thrilled to be sitting on the same couch watching T.V. with her.

What?

This website, AdamWeitz.com, serves as my personal blog and also provides occasional updates about what’s going on at New Harbor. Most posts center around business and marketing though you’re bound to come across some random and very entertaining posts from time to time. If you’re looking for advice or posts on design, marketing, bootstrapping in business as well as the occasional tech tip or laugh then this blog may be good for you.

My Twitter page is very similar though it does tend to lean more toward the funny side of things. I re-tweet things I find interesting in new technology, marketing and business but I am a sucker for funny tweets and often will re-tweet something that makes me laugh. You’re also probably going to get a few photos from me on there and the occasional restaurant or bar summary.

Where

Mainly I’m on Twitter but below are a few other places you can find me (Twitter and Facebook are, by far, where I am most active).

Why

Why should you keep visiting this site? That’s a really good question. I’m not sure that I can answer that for you. It comes down to individual taste. I’m sure you’ll find this site to be informative and entertaining. You’re also sure to smile from time to time. Try it for 30 days. If you don’t like me, I’ll give you your money back. If you do decide to stay here, please feel free to leave comments as I would love to connect with you.

Thanks for reading.
